Amity Township is looking to hire a Labor / Equipment Operator, your job will be to help with maintaining plant equipment at a 2.2MGD treatment facility and also help with maintaining equipment at 8 pumping stations, you will be trained to operate vac and flushing equipment, back hoe, and snow removal equipment etc. There will be some weekend work and emergency call outs.
We do recommend a Class B Type 1 wastewater certificate and a CDL. The wages will be set according to Teamsters union 429 contract.

Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator

The Borough of Sinking Spring is looking to hire a Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator. The Operator will be responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of the 1.65 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant, collection and conveyance system, satellite pump station, maintaining compliance with required regulatory agencies, and monitoring and assisting wastewater personnel. It is preferred that the candidate have a minimum of 3 years direct involvement of treatment plant operations, pump stations, and collection systems. Candidate must possess a current Pennsylvania Class B Operators License, Class E Collection and Conveyance System with Sub Classification 1 (Activated Sludge) and Sub Classification 4(Collection System). The person selected for this position will oversee all facets of managerial and operating aspects of the Water System. This is a Full-Time position that will report directly to the water treatment plant.

The position will involve the operation and maintenance of all surface water treatment processes included but not limited to Surface Water Intakes, Raw Water pumps, Chemical Feed Pump additions, On site Chlorine Generation, Filtration and Post Disinfection.
