WRM/RVE is currently searching for a responsible man or woman to fill the position of a Water Treatment Plant Operations Manager. The person selected for this position will oversee all facets of managerial and operating aspects of the Water System. This is a Full-Time position that will report directly to the water treatment plant.

The position will involve the operation and maintenance of all surface water treatment processes included but not limited to Surface Water Intakes, Raw Water pumps, Chemical Feed Pump additions, On site Chlorine Generation, Filtration and Post Disinfection. Other responsibilities are maintaining and operating a variety of equipment in and around the water system facilities. Conducts required analyses, daily inspections, along with entering data in the computer which are then submitted to DEP for compliance.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM but may be adjusted accordingly to plant operations.

Although this position requires a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Water Class AE License with sub-classes 1 thru 14 and we are WILLING TO TRAIN the right candidate or even select out of state candidates who may be eligible for PA reciprocity under the DEP Licensing guidelines. The Lower Salford Township Authority located in Harleysville PA, is seeking a full-time licensed wastewater plant operator. Current PADEP Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator's certificate preferred, but not required.

The minimum requirement is a Class C, E, subclass 1, 4 PADEP Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator's Certificate or the ability to obtain certification as a condition of employment.

The Authority operates two activated sludge treatment plants, pump stations and collection system.
