Berks-Montgomery Municipal Authority (BMMA) is accepting applications for a full time Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. Responsibilities include; operating / maintaining two (2) wastewater treatment plants, collection system, and nine (9) satellite pump stations. The Applicant must have a minimum of three (3) experience as a wastewater treatment plant operator and possess a Class B-Subclass 1, 2 & 4 or obtain required licenses within one year of employment. Work experience as an industrial electrician, plumber, mechanic, pipe fitter preferred. The Applicant must be knowledgeable with smart phones, computers, SCADA & GIS systems. The Applicant must have the ability to respond to emergencies, work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. Applicants must possess excellent organizational, communicative, and multi-tasking skills, and an excellent employment history. Applicants must have a valid Pennsylvania motor vehicle license.
